The next Silent Hill movie was announced at Konami's presentation
The next Silent Hill film, Return to Silent Hill, has been announced. The film will be directed by Christoph Hans, who directed the first film in the franchise. Victor Hadida, the producer of the original film, is also producing this installment.
Hans directed the first film “Silent Hill” in 2006. The second film, Silent Hill: Revelation, was released in 2012 under the direction of M.J. Basset. Earlier this year, Hans talked about the script for this film, which is scheduled for release in 2023.
I know that Silent Hill is a great video game franchise and a work of art in the noblest sense of the word. It was important to me to design Silent Hill for an audience. It’s clear that today’s horror movies are nothing like the horror movies of 2006, and for the better. Not that 2007 horror movies were bad, but every genre goes through an evolution.
