Xiaomi will announce the Redmi Note 12 series this month
Xiaomi released 18 smartphones last year, which were part of the Redmi Note 11 series. Now the company has decided to move on. An announcement of the Redmi Note 12 series appeared in the manufacturer’s official Weibo account. It will be launched this month.
The teaser reveals that the line will have “two technologies,” one of which is a “world first.”
There is no information yet on how many devices will be included in the lineup and what they will be called. At a minimum, there will be Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ models. They are already certified to support 67W, 120W and 210W fast charging respectively.
Rumors suggest that the Note 12 Pro models will be powered by Mediatek’s latest chipset, the Dimensity 1080, which was announced this month. It is also likely that several smartphones of the series will be equipped with a 200 MP camera.
