Apple has reduced production of the IPhone 14 Plus

Apple has reportedly stopped production of the iPhone 14 Plus and is reassessing demand. It looks like the smartphone didn’t take off as well as early reports suggested. Citing sources in the supply chain, a new report says the company has contacted at least one iPhone assembly partner to stop production of the 14 Plus immediately.

It also contacted two component suppliers to reduce production by up to 90 percent. The report also mentions that at least one supplier has been instructed to increase production of components for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models.

There are no official comments from Apple regarding these events, although we can only assume that iPhone buyers are not looking for a non-professional device at a price of 899 dollars.

Apple

At just $100 more than the iPhone 14 Pro and $200 more than the 14 Pro Max, the iPhone 14 Plus is in the neutral zone. Despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the iPhone 14 Plus, The Information suggests that Apple still plans to announce the iPhone 15 Plus next year.
