As reported by Telegram Info, the Telegram messenger made a paid standard feature that was previously available without a subscription. You can now post messages on behalf of channels in chats only if you pay for a Premium subscription.
Currently, all accounts without an activated Premium subscription cannot post in comments and groups on behalf of the channel – only on behalf of their personal account. Although the feature was previously available without a subscription.
A source close to Telegram’s development team said that the feature was wasted by spammers, which is why the decision was made to convert the feature to a paid subscription.
Commenting on behalf of the channel accounts for up to 80% of spam in groups and comments. Band admins asked to disable this feature entirely, but we decided to leave it to premium users instead of disabling it completely. This will reduce the amount of spam without “throwing away” the feature entirely.
