Euphoria's Actor Angus Cloud Died at the Age of 25
Angus Cloud has died at the age of 25, his family confirmed to Insider on Monday.
Actor known for his role as Fezco on the HBO hit series "Euphoria".
Cloud had no acting experience prior to 'Euphoria' and got the role after being approached on the street.

Cloud plays Fezco, a good-natured dropout and drug dealer who befriends the character main, Rue (Zendaya).
Fezco quickly became a fan favorite in the first season and received even more critical acclaim in the second season as the series developed its plot as well as its relationship with Rue's best friend, Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow).
However, it was a blessing for Cloud to be cast alongside such famous stars as Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.
Cloud told GQ in 2019 that he was discovered for the role — his first acting job — while walking the streets of Manhattan, New York.
Cloud grew up in Oakland, California, where he attended the Oakland School of the Arts, but focused more on theater engineering than acting. After school, he moved to New York, where he started working at a "chicken and waffle" restaurant while living in Bushwick.
In 2018, while walking down the street in Manhattan, Cloud said he was approached by a representative of a casting company and asked him to audition for a new TV series.
Cloud said: 'I'm confused and don't want to give him my phone number. I think it's a scam.
Turns out Cloud is auditioning for the 'Euphoria' pilot.

After passing his second audition with the pilot director, Augustine Frizzell, Cloud flew in. Los Angeles to shoot a series written by Sam Levinson.
Cloud said he had to stay at many Airbnbs in Los Angeles because he couldn't find a place to rent.
'Nobody tried to rent a place for me. I went unanswered and they didn't believe I was a real actor," he recalls.

Cloud has a prominent scar on his head that was written into Fezco's storyline.
The actor told Variety last year that he had a scar after falling into a construction pit at least 10 feet deep as a teenager.
"12 hours later I woke up downstairs," he said. 'I was stuck. I finally got out later - I don't know how long. It was hard to get out, because my skull was broken, but not the skin, so all the blood was flowing inside, pressing on my brain. But they won't find me there. I have found myself. Where God found me, whatever you call it.
Despite his injuries, Cloud said he took the bus home and his mother took him to the children's hospital.
"I'm going to die," he said. She gave me some water and I started vomiting a mouthful of crimson blood. It was crazy.
Cloud says hospital staff saved his life.
"They cut open my head, they put screws and a plate in where I broke my skull and - damn it, they closed the door on me, that's it," he said.
A flashback from the Season 2 premiere of Euphoria explains that Fez has a scar after being accidentally hit by a crowbar as a child.
Cloud told Insider in 2022 that he was "delighted" that his character's backstory was explored in season two.
"The opening scene itself is a work of art," he said. "But when they added how I got the scar, they made up the whole reason in my story about how I got that scar and I was like, 'Damn, that's sickening. It's a real scar
Listening to Cloud tell, he shouldn't be on the show for long. The actor told The Hollywood Reporter of his character: “Obviously he died in the first two episodes. Fezco not only survived, but became an unstoppable force, even in a stacked cast. He made a much-needed rollout in the season two premiere, "Try to Heaven Before You Close the Door." The episode details how Fezco's iron-willed grandmother (Kathrine Narducci) saved him from an abusive father, but also brought him into the world of drug dealing. Those childhood wounds are evident on Fezco's freckled face, behind Cloud's piercing blue eyes, in a scar that runs down the left side of his scalp.
Euphoria creator Sam Levinson said in a statement. “He is too special, too talented and too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knows how many hearts he has touched. I love it. I'm still going."
It's interesting to see Fezco open up in his scenes with Maude Apatow's Lexi. “He was very caring and curious, and he was a good listener,” Apatow told me last year when talking about partnering with Cloud. "It's rare that someone is actually with you." After the cute Fezco and Lexi meet at a lively New Year's Eve party - the two teenagers are content to be the flowers of the orgy - a tentative romance ensues. They hold hands while watching the movie Stand by Me, singing in tears at the end of the film. She assigned him her next play. He dreams of growing up to be a farmer, "a little bastard in Little House on the Prairie". For a few fleeting moments, Fezco contemplated the possibility that he might actually be happy.
